Account Manager/Inside Sales

Job Description

Stanley Supply & Services is seeking highly motivated Account Manger Representatives in our North Andover, MA; Bolingbrook, IL; and Phoenix, AZ offices. As an Account Manager Sales rep, you will partner with Territory Sales reps to work towards common quantitative goals marketing industrial/electronic supplies and services. As a team you will work on servicing existing accounts, building relationships and focus on developing new customer prospects to expand Stanley Supply & Services' market share of the assigned territory.

Required

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong listening, negotiating, and prospecting skills
• Experience in customer service, telephone sales or telemarketing in a high volume environment (distribution or mail order preferred)
• Hands on experience with PCs including MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT and automated order entry systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated to meet specific sales goals
• Basic understanding of cost/price relationship and margin calculations

Preferred

• AS/BSBA: Marketing, Business or other management major preferred

Responsibilities

• Efficient and accurate handling of telephone orders, requests for information, technical questions, and inquiries regarding product availability for assigned accounts
• Negotiate with customers on pricing issues
• Develop relationships with relevant personnel at assigned accounts
• Analyze sales activity reports to identify sales potential
• Review account portfolio with National Inside Sales Manager and develop strategies for identifying growth opportunities in assigned accounts
• Pursue new or discontinued business
• Positive contributor in a team environment
