As a result, we have strategically located our U.S. warehouses, field and phone sales personnel along with dedicated technical support providing product application and customer services. Stanley Supply & Services was started in 1963 as Contact East--a small, independent organization representing various manufacturers of capital equipment and services. As electronic packaging miniaturization accelerated, so did the need for specialized tools, supplies and bench top equipment used in the electronics workplace. Finding all these products from one source was a challenge. Recognizing the need for a distributor of these products, the company launched its first catalog.
